Frostburg State University's NAACP Chapter will present Youth Minister Zena Pierre, a lobbyist with the Washington Linkage Group, on Tuesday, Feb. 24 at 7 p.m. in Lane University Center's Alice R. Manicur Assembly Hall.
Pierre will speak on “Voting Along Party Lines.” The talk will focus on the upcoming presidential election and address issues such as Democrat and Republican party positions on major issues; why President Bush will be unopposed in his party; the 2000 Florida election scandal; the significance of the absentee ballot and the college-student vote; and the importance of an educated vote.
