FSU TV-3 Announces New Program: "NASA Sci Files"
Release Date: 06/25/2004

FSU TV-3, Frostburg State University's cable television channel, will present "NASA Sci Files," a new show beginning Monday, July 14, that is a 60-minute educational program for grades 3 to 5 emphasizing research, problem-based learning and scientific inquiry.

"NASA Sci Files" will air on Mondays from 4 to 7 p.m. Each show will feature the tree-house detectives who work to solve each case that comes up in the day’s topic. Topics will include alternative forms of transportation in “The Case of the Radical Ride,” how to grow award-winning plants for the upcoming fair in “The Case of the Prize-Winning Plants” and learning about the water cycle as the detectives try to raise money with a car wash and face water restrictions in “The Case of the Wacky Water Cycle.”
