Frostburg State University’s Live at the Loft series will present folk artist Lea on Wednesday, Sept. 22, at 7 p.m. in the Lane University Center Loft.
Lea is an emerging artist on the D.C. music scene. Nominated for several WAMMIES (Best female folk vocalist, 2000 and best new artist, 1999), she has recently gained many fans and increasing recognition as a solo performer. Lea has performed at the Kennedy Center’s Millennium Stage and in dozens of other regional venues and festivals. She is regularly featured on Montgomery County cable and is in an independent film called “Mentality.”
