Frostburg State University’s Cultural Events Series will launch its new CES Jazz Club, sponsored by Kauffman Music, with “An Evening with The Yellowjackets” on Thursday, Sept. 30, at 7:30 p.m. in the FSU Performing Arts Center Pealer Recital Hall.
As two-time Grammy Award winners, The Yellowjackets has thrived as one of America’s most loved and top-selling contemporary jazz groups for nearly 20 years. With 15 albums, the group continues to display a forceful, individual sound. The mixture of pulsating energetic rhythms with dynamics and subtlety are certain to delight.
This tour of the Yellowjackets is made possible by a grant from Mid Atlantic Arts Foundation in partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts Regional Touring Program.
