Frostburg State University’s International Film Series will present the film, “Uncovered: The War on Iraq,” on Tuesday, Oct. 12, at 7 p.m. in the Atkinson Room 201 in the Lane University Center.
This controversial documentary details the events and decisions leading to the war in Iraq. The film shares never-before heard details straight from government officials, CIA agents, Pentagon employees and foreign service experts. The filmmakers demonstrate the lies, misconceptions and exaggerations presented to the American people by the Bush Administration as well as show how they say President Bush deceived millions into believing that a regime change would be necessary for the Iraqi government. The war in Iraq has stirred up controversy among the American people as well as among the chambers of government and this documentary tells the story of a misguided America and a disheveled Iraq.
