The Frostburg State University Foundation and the Music Department will present a Faculty Gala Recital on Sunday, Oct. 31, at 3 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center’s Pealer Recital Hall.
This recital will showcase the musical skills of the multi-talented faculty members of the Music Department in a program of wide-ranging musical styles. Scott Silbert, lead arranger of the Navy Jazz Band and former FSU saxophone teacher, arranged the concert's final piece. The afternoon begins with a pre-recital reception at 2:15 p.m. in the lobby of the Performing Arts Center. The concert will begin at 3 p.m.
Tickets are $5 for the general public and $3 for students and are available at the door. All proceeds benefit the Music Department Scholarship Fund through the FSU Foundation, Inc.
