CES: Tom Chapin Cancels 4 p.m. Show at FSU; 1 p.m. Show Still Scheduled

Grammy Award-winning entertainer Tom Chapin, who will perform at Frostburg State University this Saturday, Oct. 2, will present only one concert that day at 1 p.m. in the FSU Performing Arts Pealer Recital Hall. His second show, previously scheduled for 4 p.m., has been canceled.

Chapin’s show launches the FSU Cultural Events Series’ Family Fun Series, sponsored by Smiley’s FunZone and Pizzeria. A 2001 Grammy Award winner, Chapin has gained widespread critical and popular acclaim for his music aimed at 4 to 11 year olds and their families, and has been recognized with awards from many family publications. His latest family CD, “Making Good Noise,” was nominated for a 2003 Grammy Award.
