Frostburg State University will be conducting its 2004 Homecoming Parade on Saturday, Oct. 23, at 10:30 a.m. on Main Street in Frostburg. The parade is part of FSU’s “Rockin’ Down the Highway” Homecoming celebration.
The parade will be led by the parade marshal, Frostburg Mayor Jim Cotton, and feature a float competition and performances by local marching bands. The parade will also have appearances by Miss Teen Maryland and Miss Teen Frostburg. Riding in the parade will be many local car show participants including Georgia’s Creek Cruisers Car Club, Early Edition Street Rodders and the Classy Car Club. Also, many local fire departments will be on hand. During the parade, St. Michael’s Church will be holding a bake sale. All are welcome to attend the FSU Campus Carnival after the parade.
