Frostburg State University presents a student musical performance by mezzo-soprano Heather Footen on Friday, Nov. 5, at 8 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center Pealer Recital Hall.
Footen will be singing works by Amy Beach, Franz Schubert, Maurice Ravel, Christoph Willibald von Gluck and George Frideric Handel. She will also be performing works from “Les Miserables” and “Once upon a Mattress.” Footen will be accompanied by Betty Jane Phillips.
Footen, who is expected to graduate this December, is majoring in music education with a minor in theatre. Her FSU instructor for this event is Dr. Karen Soderberg-Sarnaker.
