“Studio 10,” a senior portfolio exhibition, will be featured in the Stephanie Ann Roper Art Gallery at Frostburg State University on Saturday, Dec. 11, from 2 to 4 p.m.
The exhibition will consist of presentations and classroom work by the 10 participating Visual Arts students. Pieces will consist of Web design, print design, animation and a mixture of work from other art genres. The students participating include Joy Corrado, Meghan Crossland, Zachary Ditmars, Collin King, Chris Leahey, Trisha Mauk, Randee Newlin, Roxanne Schlauch, Sara Spelz and Joshua Taggart.
Joy Corrado’s graphic designs include independent work, class work and work composed at her internship at FSU. Meghan Crossland will be presenting freelance, personal and class graphic design projects. Zachary Ditmars’ work strives to achieve a compromise between visual communication and artistic creation. Collin King’s pieces hope to enthrall viewers with creative, essential and technical design. Chris Leahey’s portfolio covers a broad range of media including print, web and animation. Trisha Mauk’s designs range from Christmas cards to newspaper layouts. Randee Newlin keeps her graphic design work organized by sticking to the theme “less is more.” Roxanne Schlauch’s work uses the most up-to-date styles and techniques while getting the message across in a simple manner. Sara Spelz’s work ranges from print and Web design to multimedia design. Joshua Taggert’s work consists of print, multimedia and web design created through taking classes, free lancing and through an internship with FSU.
