The Activities for Life Center at Frostburg State University will offer a Yoga Fitness class on Thursdays, Feb. 8 to April 28 from 5 to 5:45 p.m. in the Cordts Physical Education Center Room 106. (There will be no class March 24.)
Yoga can help the mind and body feel stronger and less stressed. It’s a form of meditation that uses physical exercises and breathing techniques to develop awareness, stability and better health. Anyone can participate in yoga. Each person works according to an individual body's limits.
A minimum of eight students is required to have the class; advance registration is required by Feb. 8. Jo Mason will instruct. Participants must supply their own mats.
