The Frostburg State University Jazz Ensemble will return again this year for a night of impressive jazz, under the direction of retired FSU professor emeritus Dr. Jon Bauman. The show will be held on Saturday, Feb. 12, at 8 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center on campus.
This Alumni Jazz Ensemble consists of musicians from Massachusetts to California, including alumni Chris Alexander, Vanessa Candreva, Dave Coccia, Albert DeFusco, Richard Frush, Mike Gellar, Tom Harrison, Noel Kunkle, Peter Redyk, Kendra Rinard, Doug Robinson and Bill Schreiber.
Song selections will include such classics as “This Could Be the Start of Something Big,” “My Tune,” “Take the A Train” and “Jersey Bounce. This big-band concert is guaranteed to feature many of your favorite tunes.
The concert is free and open to the public.
