Scratch Track, a new acoustic trio that blends funk, folk, hip-hop, rock and gospel, is performing at Frostburg State University on Saturday, Feb. 12, at 8 p.m. in the Lane University Center Loft. The event is sponsored by the University Programming Council.
Comprised of Will Gray, Jason Hamlin and DJ Lee, Scratch Track mixes rapid-fire lyrics, street poetry, languid harmonies, driving guitars and explosive percussive vocals, all contributing to their rich musical sound. Lately they have been performing from coast to coast with such acts as Living Colour, Jurassic 5, Will Hoge, Jars of Clay, Los Lonely Boys, Teitur, and the Dave Matthews Cover Band.
