African American Studies Department and Center Stage Present Blues Artist Fruteland Jackson

The Frostburg State University African American Studies Department and Center Stage present blues artist Fruteland Jackson on Wednesday, Feb. 16, at 7 p.m. in the Lane University Center Loft. Free coffee, tea, hot chocolate and cookies will be available.

Jackson specializes in acoustic blues, from contemporary to traditional. He also performs his own original works. As an oral historian, Jackson has taken his extensive knowledge of blues history to institutions across the country to educate others on its important contributions to the music in the world.
