Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day early and help support WFWM, Frostburg State University's public radio station, at the newly-renovated Manhattan Bar & Grill in downtown Cumberland, which will host a benefit show on Friday, Feb. 25.
The benefit at the 69 Baltimore St. restaurant (corner of Liberty Street and Town Centre) will be highlighted by a performance by Shanty Irish, featuring FSU’s own Steve Owens and Woody Getz playing traditional Irish pub tunes. WFWM will also give away some Celtic music compact discs during the performance.
Doors will open at 9:45 p.m. and the music will start at 10 p.m. There is a $5 cover charge with all proceeds from the door going to benefit WFWM Public Radio. For more information, call (301) 687-4143.
