Brandon Shaffer to Perform in Percussion Recital

Frostburg State University student and percussionist Brandon Shaffer will perform his junior recital on Sunday, March 6, at 7 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center Pealer Recital Hall.

Shaffer, a member of Phi Mu Alpha and of the Collegiate Percussive Arts Society, honed his craft under FSU instructor Ron Horner. He intends to graduate in December 2005. Shaffer will be performing “Wind Sketch” as well as “Prism” by Keiko Abe, “Music of the Day” by Bill Molenhof, “Four Pieces for Timpani” by John Bergamo and “Cold Pressed” by David Hollinden.
