Four Frostburg State University student projects were presented at Student Research Days in Annapolis. FSU students and faculty mentors explained poster presentations of their work during the first week of March in the Exhibit Hall of the House of Delegates.
This event, sponsored by the Council of University System Faculty, highlights research conducted by undergraduate students and is designed to show State legislators the high quality work of University students and the values of faculty mentorship.
The FSU presentations included were “2004 Allegany County Chamber of Commerce Survey” by Sarah Dorman, Crystal Ellis, James Mudd, Brian Raphael, Kamillo Rosenthal and Valarie Stewart, under the direction of Dr. Yun Chu; “Children’s Eyewitness Testimonies” by Kristina Green, under the direction of Dr. Chrismarie Baxter; “Liar, Liar Pants on Fire: Deception in Children via Behavioral and Physiological Marker” by Kelli Murray, under the direction of Dr. Megan Bradley; and “Digital Blabbermouths: Effects of Online Versus In-class Discussion Formats on Student Reports of Participation” by Lindsay Thom, under the direction of Dr. Megan Bradley.
