Frostburg State University will present two information meetings for prospective applicants for its Master of Arts in Teaching programs, both elementary and secondary.
MAT – Elementary Program Coordinator Dr. Kim Rotruck and MAT – Secondary Program Coordinator Dr. William Childs will be at the University System of Maryland at Hagerstown, 32 W. Washington St., on Tuesday, March 15, and again on Thursday, March 31, to speak to prospective applicants for the group beginning studies in summer 2005. Both sessions are at 6:30 p.m. in room 124-125.
The Master of Arts in Teaching – Elementary is offered at USM-H. The deadline for summer 2005 cohort applications is May 1, 2005. The summer 2005 applicant admissions interviews will be scheduled for the evening of Wednesday, April 13.
The Master of Arts in Teaching – Secondary program is offered at FSU's Frostburg campus. The deadline for summer 2005 cohort applications is April 1, 2005.
FSU’s Master of Arts in Teaching program is designed for career changers or recent college graduates who want to pursue a career in teaching. The full-time program that lasts just over a year provides its students with all the necessary coursework and classroom experience to obtain teacher certification in the State of Maryland.
