Epidemiologist to Discuss Emergency Bioterrorism Response at FSU

Dr. Betsy Kagey, epidemiologist at the Allegany County Health Department, will present a talk titled “Environment Health and Epidemiology, 2005” on Tuesday, March 29, at 7:45 p.m. at Frostburg State University's Compton Science Center, room 327. She is sponsored by the Western Maryland Local Section of the American Chemical Society.

Kagey’s presentation will focus on the field of environmental epidemiology and how it is used in emergency response to acts of bioterrorism at the county level. Her talk will be preceded by a dinner at Giuseppe’s on Bowery Street in Frostburg at 6 p.m. The public is invited both to the dinner meeting and the presentation.
