FSU Student to Perform in Senior Voice Recital

Frostburg State University senior soprano Kelly Law will perform her senior recital on Sunday, April 17, at 3 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center Pealer Recital Hall. Betty Phillips will accompany Law on piano.

Law, a member of Alpha Xi Delta, FSU Chorale and FSU Opera Theatre, honed her craft under FSU instructor Dr. Karen Soderberg-Sarnaker. She intends to graduate in May 2005 with a B.A. in music with a vocal performance concentration. Law will be performing works by Ernest Charles, Charles Gounod, Ernest Chausson, Henri Duparc, Robert Schumann, Giacomo Puccini, Carlisle Floyd and Gian-Carlo Menotti. Guest performer Ryan Bowie will perform the role of “Ben” in a special duet from Menotti’s “The Telephone.”
