Frostburg State University will present a lecture on Albert Einstein and his visit to Western Maryland on Monday, April 18, at 7 p.m. in room 226 of the Compton Science Center.
Francis Tam, professor of physics and engineering at FSU, will present a lecture on Einstein’s 1946 visit to Deep Creek Lake. The lecture will feature photos of Einstein, the scientist’s unusual stories, his unique sense of humor and his humanity. This event is sponsored by the Faculty Development and Sabbatical Subcommittee and is free and open to the public. Refreshments will follow.
