Frostburg State University will present the Umdabu African Dance Company on Tuesday, April 12, at 7 p.m. in the Lane University Center Alice R. Manicur Assembly Hall.
Get a glimpse of traditional Zulu dancing when the Black Student Alliance plays host to a special performance by the dance company. Umdabu is a Birmingham-based dance troupe dedicated to the preservation and presentation of traditional Zulu culture through dance. The high-energy company is very interactive with audiences, no matter the size or location, as they zip back and forth across the country sharing a part of their culture with others.
The program is free and open to the public.
