The Frostburg State University Activities for Life Center will offer a golf clinic on Thursdays, May 12 to June 9, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Maplehurst Country Club.
Golf Pro Rick Flowers will be the instructor. Clinics will include group and individual instruction. Sessions will focus on topics including the golf swing, putting, chipping, rules and etiquette. Beginner and intermediate golfers will benefit most from these classes. A full set of golf clubs is preferable, but a 7 iron, wedge, putter and wood will be adequate. Sneakers will be sufficient; golf shoes would provide the most benefit. The class is limited to 10 participants. Registration and fees must be paid no later than May 5.
