The Frostburg State University Brass Ensembles Concert, under the direction of Brian Plitnik, will be held on Thursday, May 12, at 8 p.m. in the Pealer Recital Hall of the Performing Arts Center.
The program will consist of a variety of selections for mixed brass and low brass including “Canzon Quarti Toni” by Giovanni Gabrieli, “Allegro Deciso” by Robert Muczynski, “Fantasy and Double Fugue” by Eric Ewazen and “Bushes and Briars” by Ralph Vaughan Williams. The concert is free and open to the public.
