Frostburg State University’s Black Student Alliance will present motivational speaker Andres Lara, also known as “The Cuban Guy,” on Wednesday, Oct. 5, in the Lane University Center room 201 at 7:30 p.m.
Lara was 16 years old we he escaped from Cuba to come to the United States. He had no money and was unable to speak English. By the age of 24, he became a nationally known speaker, the president of “Inspiration Time Magazine,” and was CEO of his own company, “A Success Training, Inc.” He has also published many books.
Lara will be presenting his motivational workshop called “How to Move Forward When You Feel Like Quitting: Becoming Unstoppable.”
