Kenneth Thompson, FSU Student, to Perform Senior Percussion Recital

Frostburg State University senior percussionist Kenneth Thompson will perform his senior recital on Sunday, Oct. 16, at 7 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center Pealer Recital Hall. Betty Jane Phillips will accompany Thompson on piano.

Thompson, a member of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia fraternity and the Maryland Music Education Association, honed his craft under FSU instructor Dr. Ronald Horner. He intends to graduate in May 2005 with a B.A. in music education. Thomson will be performing works by Matthias Schmitt, David Hollinden, Elliot Carter, and Toshiro Mayuzumi.
