Frostburg State University’s Dr. Chrismarie Baxter, a professor in the Department of Psychology, was recognized as the Outstanding Mentor recognition at the Alumni Expo luncheon at FSU on Friday, Oct. 21.
Dr. Baxter was nominated by Angela Massey and the recognition was presented by Dr. Cindy Herzog.
“During her 26 years of teaching at Frostburg State University, Dr. Chrismarie Baxter has been the trusted teacher and colleague who has mentored students, faculty, and department chairs,” said Dr. Herzog. “She is committed to helping each student to achieve success in the classroom. She goes the extra mile to make sure that students understand and apply information.”
