Division of Performing Arts – Music Presents Percussion Ensemble

The Frostburg State University Division of Performing Arts – Music presents a Percussion Ensemble concert on Wednesday, Nov. 30, at 8 p.m. in the Pealer Recital Hall of the Performing Arts Center. The concert is free and open to the public.

Student conductors are Brandon Shaffer and Ken Thompson. The program will feature “Teamwork” by Lynn Glassock (conducted by Brandon Shaffer); “Foreign Objects” by John Bergamo (conducted by Ken Thompson); “Diners Club” by Chirrs Crockarell; “Afta-Stuba!” by Mark Ford; “Ogoun Badagris” by Christopher Rouse; and “Tribute to Maggione” by Chris Crockarell.

Ensemble members include Dan Abbott, Milton Alexander, Erin Briskey, Mike Crisp, Thomas Czeh, Emily Finch, Mark Gauthier, Nick Mason, Gwyn Mitchell, Trevor Seits, Brandon Shaffer, Brandon Strawther and Ken Thompson.

Musical assistance will be offered by Laurence Bruner, flugelhorn; Scott Cheesman, tenor saxophone; Wayne Schmidt, bass; and Mary Wempe, trumpet.
