Frostburg State University’s University Programming Council has added Alexa Ray Joel, daughter of Billy Joel and Christie Brinkley, to the show already featuring singer/songwriter Syd on Saturday, Feb. 18, at 8 p.m. at the Lane University Center Alice R. Manicur Assembly Hall.
Joel recently made her New York City musical debut at the Cutting Room before a standing-room-only crowd. She is now on tour throughout the Northeast and is coming to FSU.
Syd’s music evokes the mood and melody of his influences, which include Ani DiFranco and Pearl Jam, yet he stands comfortably on his own. The Bostonian recently teamed up with a producer duo that has worked with artists from Jack Johnson to Supertramp to complete his sophomore album, “Fault Lines.”
