The Activities for Life Center at Frostburg State University will offer a Yoga Fitness class on Thursdays, Feb. 9 to May 4, from 5 to 5:45 p.m. in the Cordts Physical Education Center Room 170. (There will be no class March 23.)
Yoga-fit can help the mind and body feel stronger and less stressed. It’s a form of meditation that uses physical exercises and breathing techniques to develop awareness, stability and better health. Anyone can participate in yoga fitness. Each person works according to an individual body's limits.
A minimum of eight students is required to have the class. Jo Mason will instruct. Participants must supply their own mats.
