Frostburg State University is inviting the area's entrepreneurs to a "town meeting" to create an ongoing dialogue about regional business on Friday, Feb. 10, from 6 to 8 p.m. in room 240 of FSU's Guild Center. The meeting is part of an ongoing effort of the FSU College of Business Trident Initiative: Pathways to Entrepreneurship Education, funded by a Coleman Foundation Grant.
The meeting, part of a monthly series, will provide participants with the opportunity to contribute to the discussion among entrepreneurs in regional and local business environments, issues and problems in their operations that they may have faced or are facing currently. Various interested populations will be able to interact, including government representatives, FSU faculty and students who may have their own perspectives to offer.
The goal of these meetings is to explore ways of making the business environment more attractive, and to build knowledge that is conducive to local and regional economic development.
