The Activities for Life Center at Frostburg State University is offering a Golf Clinic on Tuesdays, May 9 through June 6, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Maplehurst Country Club in Frostburg. Rick Flowers, Maplehurst golf pro, will be the instructor.
Clinics will include group and individual instruction. Sessions will focus on the golf swing, putting, chipping, rules and etiquette. Beginner and intermediate golfers will benefit most from these classes.
Having a full set of clubs is ideal; however a 7-iron, wedge, putter and wood are adequate. Sneakers are sufficient, but golf shoes are preferred.
The class is limited to 12 participants. Registration fees must be paid no later than May 3. For more information and registration, contact Amy Nazelrod, Center Coordinator at 301-687-7934.
