Pop Quartet Plays Piano-Driven Rock Melodies
Fooling April, a pop quartet known for acoustic-edged melodic pop that seamlessly blends classic and modern-rock sensibilities, will perform at 9 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 31, at the Lane University Center in the Alice R. Manicur Assembly Hall on the Frostburg State University campus. The concert is free and open to the public.
The performance, part of FSU’s LIVE! at the Loft series, will highlight the ensemble’s knack for unpretentious, poignant, and humorous lyrics combined with sophisticated song structures. Fooling April has appeared with John Mayer, Dave Matthews, Dido, Pat McGee Band and the Strokes.
