The Frostburg State University Activities for Life program will offer a Creative Movement ballet class for boys and girls ages 3-5 years. The class, which will be held on Tuesdays from 5:30 to 6:15 p.m., will run from Sept. 5 to Nov. 14 (no class October 31). The class will be held in the Cordts P.E. Center Dance Studio.
The class is designed with the very young dancer in mind. It stresses natural dance movement, stretching, music appreciation and creative dance/movement. Movement focuses on coordination, large motor skills development, musical awareness, spatial awareness, and listening skills. The cost for the class is $75. A minimum of nine participants is needed to have the class.
