The Frostburg State University Activities for Life Center will offer Water Aerobics from Sept. 5 to Oct. 5, from 6 to 6:50 p.m., at the FSU pool in the Cordts Physical Education Center. Participants may register for Tuesday or Thursday class, or both nights for a discounted price.
The class is geared toward those who want to increase cardiovascular fitness, flexibility and body strength. It is the perfect activity for those with painful joints or other movement limitations. Water aerobics creates good muscle balance, making the muscles limber and strong.
Instructor for the class is Heather Borkoski. A minimum of eight participants are needed in order to have the class. For more information and registration, call Ms. Amy Nazelrod, AFL Coordinator at 301-687-7934.
FSU is committed to making all of its programs, services and activities accessible to persons with disabilities. To request accommodations through the ADA Compliance Office, call (301) 687-4102, TDD (301) 687-7955.
