Activities for Life at Frostburg State University will offer a Pilates class on Wednesdays from Sept. 20 through Nov. 29 from 5 to 6 p.m. in the Cordts Physical Education Center room 106. (There will be no class Nov. 22). Participants must pre-register; the class is limited to 15 participants.
This Pilates class will help improve core and abdominal strength, posture and overall flexibility. It will give the participant a complete body workout that will help realign and lengthen the spine. Some yoga poses will be incorporated as well.
The class will be instructed by Leona Hauer, an AAAI/ISMA Phase III Certified Pilates Instructor. All participants must provide their own mat for the class.
