Frostburg State University’s Jazz Orchestra will present a diverse array of jazz selections during a special concert at 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 16, at the Pealer Recital Hall in the Performing Arts Center. Featuring the FSU Latin Jazz Ensemble as guest artists, the performance promises to be an unforgettable evening of jazz in all of its forms.
The concert will include a lively program with selections from noted composers and musicians such as Charles Mingus, Joe Garland, Sammy Nestico, Mark Taylor, Vernon Duke and Michael Phillip Mossman. The Latin Jazz Ensemble will include compositions and arrangements by Steve McKnight, with lyrics by Indira Corales.
