The Activities for Life Center at Frostburg State University, in conjunction with the American Red Cross, will offer a Lifeguard Certification Class starting Dec. 2.
The cost for an FSU student is $90, $155 for non-students and $30 for FSU student recertification. The registration deadline for the class is Nov. 27. There will be no last-minute registrations; students must be registered by the deadline or they will not be able to participate in this class.
The class will be held at the FSU Cordts PE Center Pool and PE Center Room 105 at the following dates and times.
- Dec. 2, 8:00 a.m.-7 p.m. room 110-1.
- Dec. 3, 10:00 a.m.-2 p.m. room 105 and 1:00-6 p.m. pool.
- Dec. 4, 6:00-9:30 p.m. pool/class.
- Dec. 5, 6:00-9:30 p.m. pool.
- Dec 6, 8, 5:00-9:30 p.m. pool.
Please register in the Cordts Physical Education Center Room 177. If you are registered for this class through the registrar’s office, you must also register through the Activities for Life office and pay the fees. Participants must have strong swimming skills.
