Frostburg State University President Jonathan Gibralter has named David Rose as the new Vice President of Administration and Finance. Rose has filled the position in an interim capacity since early August of last year.
"Mr. Rose is a fine example of professionalism and commitment to the University. He consistently puts the institution, its students and its employees first. The University's fiscal affairs are in good hands," Gibralter said.
Rose has been a member of the FSU staff since 1984. Prior to being appointed interim vice president, he held the position of Associate Vice President for Budget and Planning since 1995.
He earned a bachelor of science degree from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania.
“As we build and strengthen our new leadership team, I remain confident that by building upon its firm foundation for excellence, FSU is headed for an even brighter and more exciting future” Gibralter said.
