Season Too!, Frostburg State University’s student-directed theater series presents “Five Women Wearing the Same Dress,” a Southern comedy written by “Six Feet Under” creator Alan Ball. There will be two performances of the play Friday, Feb. 23, and Saturday, Feb. 24, at 7:30 p.m. in the F. Perry Smith Studio Theatre of the Performing Arts Center.
The play is set in the bedroom of a Tennessee estate where five bridesmaids attempt to avoid a wedding. Five different personalities clash as the afternoon reveals dark secrets and tests the bridesmaids’ views of the world around them. Add a bad-boy usher and you have a touching and hilarious crowd-pleasing production.
The play is directed by Phil Hopf and features performances by Jennie Tabb, Mallory Smith, Ashli Mazer, Shea-Mikal Green, Shannon Huber and Tekle Ghebremeschel.
All tickets are $5. For reservations and further information, please call the Performing Arts Center Box Office at (301) 687-7462.
