As part of a series of new initiatives to foster its marketing and branding efforts, Frostburg State University will launch a redesigned homepage on its Web site Monday, Feb. 19.
“This redesigned homepage is one of many steps in an ongoing marketing and branding process the University is doing to let the world know what a great place Frostburg is," FSU President Jonathan Gibralter said.
The homepage, which was given a makeover by FSU’s Webmaster, Stephanie Cesnick, will feature brighter colors and more visual imagery, including a changing photo gallery of FSU students. It will also debut a special section titled “People Profiles,” glimpses into the lives of FSU students, faculty and alumni that will list links, so that interested viewers can contact them and ask them questions about their experiences at Frostburg.
"The Frostburg State University family understands the importance of updating and maintaining a well-designed, well-informed, and easy-to-navigate Web site, and it is our desire to extend our brand through that important interactive forum," said Carol Gaumer, the chair of FSU’s marketing & finance department who is directing the University’s Marketing and Branding Task Force.
