Freelance writer and editor Josh Dean will speak about his experiences writing in the Middle East and elsewhere at Frostburg State University on Tuesday, March 27, at 7:30 p.m. in the Lewis J. Ort Library room 237. This event is free and open to the public.
Dean, a Western Maryland native, has just returned from Iran where he is profiling a ski resort for “Outside” magazine. Dean regularly writes for magazines such as ‘Rolling Stone”, “Men’s Journal”, “GQ”, “Travel and Leisure”, “New York”, “Entertainment Weekly”, “Maxim”, “Spin”, “Golf”,” Best Life”, “Men’s Health”, “Men’s Fitness”, “Budget Travel”, “Budget Living” and “Cosmopolitan”. Dean will talk about his experiences as a freelance writer not only in the Middle East but also in other locales throughout the world.
