Frostburg State University will present a roundtable on the Iraq War on Tuesday, April 3, at 7:30 p.m. in the Lane University Center Alice R. Manicur Assembly Hall. This event is free and open to the public.
Dr. Steve Simpson, FSU Provost, will serve as the moderator for the discussion. Speaking against the war will be Dr. Steve Twing, associate professor and chair of the FSU Political Science Department; Jonas Merill, an Allegany College of Maryland student and member of Iraq Veterans Against the War; and the Rev. Larry Neumark, FSU Protestant chaplain. Speaking in favor of the war will be Steve Hartlaub, associate professor in the Political Science Department and R.J. Caster, an FSU Political Science major. Other participants may be announced that evening.
