Nationally acclaimed performing artists the Goo Goo Dolls will raffle off an autographed, donated electric guitar at their concert Sunday, April 22, in the Cordts Physical Education Main Arena on the Frostburg State University campus.
Raffle tickets will be available the day of the show and sold until intermission. Tickets are $3 and five for $10. One hundred percent of the proceeds will be donated to the Western Maryland Food Bank in Cumberland, Md. The guitar was donated by Commercial Sound and Music of Frostburg, Md.
The guitar raffle ties into an overall effort by the Goo Goo Dolls to support the Western Maryland Food Bank. The group is also collecting canned food at the concert that can be dropped off at the collection points around the entrance to the arena.
Tickets are still available for the much-anticipated concert and cost $65, $55 and $36, with $18 bleacher seats available to FSU students.
