Frostburg State University Activities for Life and the City of Frostburg Department of Parks and Recreation will offer an intermediate Stott Pilates class. The class will be at 5 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays, Sept. 11 to Oct. 16, with the exception of Thursday Sept. 20. Classes will be held in the Frostburg Community Center, 27 Water St., Frostburg. The class is not suitable for beginners and has limited spaces available.
Stott Pilates is designed to deliver ultimate strength, flexibility and endurance without adding bulk. Stott exercises restore the natural curves of the spine and rebalance muscles around the joints so that participants will experience longer, leaner muscles, improved posture, increased strength and stability and improved coordination and circulation.
The class is instructed by Stott-certified instructor Susan Manger. All participants must provide their own mats. Registration and payment must be made no later than Sept. 10 in the Activities for Life office, Cordts PE Center 177. For information and registration, contact Amy Nazelrod at (301)-687-7934 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
