Award-winning chamber musician Erinn Frechette will present a flute recital at Frostburg State University Thursday, Sept. 13, at 8 p.m. in FSU’s Performing Arts Center Pealer Recital Hall. The recital is part of FSU Music Department’s Guest Artist Series.
Frechette won first place in the National Flute Association’s Young Artist and Piccolo Artist competitions and has been featured in the Charlotte, N.C., Providence United Methodist Church Chamber Music Series, the Vivian Major Society Classical Concert and Suzuki and Friends Chamber Music Series. She is also a featured soloist in the Florida Flute Association’s upcoming festival.
This recital is free and open to the public. The public is also invited to observe a master class that Frechette will present at noon on Thursday, also in Pealer Recital Hall. For more information, contact FSU’s Music Department at (301) 687-4109.
