PlayRights will bring its interactive educational theater back to Frostburg State University Thursday, Sept. 20, to help students and the community explore the issue of acquaintance rape. The performances will be at 3:30 and 7:30 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center Pealer Recital Hall.
The program challenges misconceptions about dating violence and provides practical information about the victims’ legal, medical and community options, rights in a relationship and ways for students of both genders to support victims and work to end violence against women.
The program is sponsored by Student Development and the BURG Peer Education Network. For more information, contact the S.A.F.E. Office at (301) 687-7962
