Bobby Petrocelli will return to Frostburg State University to present his motivational speech, “10 Seconds Can Change Your Life,” at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 17, in FSU’s Lane University Center Alice R. Manicur Assembly Hall.
Petrocelli has traveled the country sharing his inspirational message and life experiences to motivate and empower crowds all over the United States. The title of his speech comes from the 10 seconds that changed his own life: the night he awoke to find that a drunken driver, had driven a truck though his bedroom wall, killing Petrocelli’s wife. The driver’s blood alcohol level was twice the legal limit. Since then, Petrocelli has taken this dreadful event and turned it into an inspiring speech on life and its fragility.
This will be Petrocelli’s 11th appearance at FSU. His speech is sponsored by the BURG Peer Education Network and is free and open to the public. For more information call the SAFE office at (301) 687-4761.
