Anyone needing funding for a budding technology company or others interested in economic development should attend a briefing with TEDCO, the Technology Development Corporation of Maryland, at Frostburg State University on Friday, Oct. 26, from 2 to 3:30 p.m., in Compton Science Center Room 224.
This briefing should be of interest to economic development professionals, angel investors, entrepreneurs, small technology-based businesses, small defense contractors and university faculty inventors. TEDCO’s primary funding programs for seed stage companies include the following: Maryland Technology Transfer Fund, Fort Detrick Technology Transfer Initiative, Techstart, University Technology Development Fund and Working Capital Loan Fund.
Attendees will learn about eligibility requirements, proposal submission guidelines, review processes, award conditions, reporting requirements and payback.
