A workshop on container gardening will be presented on Friday, Oct. 19, from 6 to 8 p.m. in Frostburg State University’s Compton Science Center room 328. This workshop is one of several local events related to the Key Ingredients: America by Food traveling exhibition.
This hands-on workshop will demonstrate how growing vegetables is great fun, good exercise and a sure way to more nutritious eating. Container gardening is a simple and fun way to grow edible crops in just about any situation. Come and learn the basic information you’ll need to grow some of your own organic produce spring, summer and fall.
